The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) Focus Edition is the leading standardized exam for business school admissions globally. Launched by GMAC, the new Focus Edition streamlines the test into three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights, making it shorter and more efficient.

Types of GMAT

GMAT Focus Edition

The current version with 3 sections - Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights. Computer-adaptive and 2 hours 15 minutes long.

Requirements to take the exam

Age

Must be at least 18 years old. Candidates aged 13-17 may register with legal guardian consent.

Education

No specific educational requirement. Most test-takers hold or are pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Attempts

You can take the GMAT up to 5 times in a rolling 12-month period, with a lifetime limit of 8 attempts.

ID Required

Valid, unexpired passport required for test-takers outside their country of citizenship. Government-issued ID within your country.

Problem-solving questions testing arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and word problems. No data sufficiency in Focus Edition.
